Gold mines in Halkidiki Greece

A big environmental catastrophe is taking place in Halkidiki, in Kakavos mountain.
A canadian company with cooperation greek gold company started the operations for the extraction.
As we know gold mines need big quantities of water and o also pollute the environment with a lot of chemics.
The bigger problem is also after the end of extraction because the most companies doesn't  keep the promise for cleaning the wastes.
